Setting: After the manga.
Summary: The way Dee looks at him makes Ryo feel naked.
Written Using: The tw100 prompt ‘Naked’.
Disclaimer: I don’t own FAKE, or the characters. They belong to the wonderful Sanami Matoh.
A/N: Triple drabble.
Sometimes the way Dee looked at him made Ryo feel naked, exposed, even though he was fully dressed. It was as though Dee’s piercing green eyes could see right through his clothing to the bare skin beneath, could maybe even look deeper still, see all his secrets, every thought, every emotion, every hidden desire, as clear as if they were written in neon letters above his head. It made him feel uncomfortable, but at the same time it excited him. It felt so intimate.
It didn’t matter whether they were at work, at a club, in a restaurant, on the street, all Dee had to do was look at him that certain way and Ryo would feel suddenly hot all over, knowing his partner was picturing him stripped bare, no doubt imaging what he’d do next time they were alone together.
Ryo was almost painfully aware that Dee knew exactly what he looked like beneath his clothes, had already seen him naked quite a few times, had explored every inch of his body, touching him in places none of his previous lovers ever had. He was as familiar with Ryo’s anatomy as he was with his own, and Ryo knew the feel of Dee’s hands on him, his lips, his tongue, his fingers delving deep…
There was no hiding from Dee’s emerald gaze; it was like being caught in the beam of a searchlight, held captive, pinned in place, but that was okay. He didn’t want to escape, not anymore.
There’d been a time when he’d wanted nothing more than to avoid Dee’s eyes, afraid of being exposed as a fraud, afraid of having to face things about himself that scared him, but those days were gone. After years of pretending, he could finally accept himself, knowing he was loved.
The End
