It was wrong to laugh, really it was. Martha’s mum hadn’t raised her to laugh at other people’s misfortunes; that was bad manners, and yet…
Martha covered her mouth, trying to stifle her laughter, even though this was entirely the Doctor’s own fault. He’d been so sure he was right and she was wrong, only now here she was, clean and dry, while he was covered head to toe in smelly green goop!
“Don’t laugh!”
“I’m not!” Martha squeaked out.
“Yes you are, you’re snickering at me behind your hand!”
“I can’t help it; you look like a swamp monster!”
The End
