Summary: The Doctor can see only one way to stop the Daleks; by destroying them.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
The urge to create is natural, something shared by all sentient species everywhere. People, whatever they look like and however they think, are blessed with imagination and the desire to leave a legacy for those who come after them.
So they start by building shelters of increasing complexity, then monuments, machines, and other devices to simplify their lives… They create families and communities, and they develop their own cultures.
This is true even of Daleks, and yet their primary drive is not to create but to destroy. To defeat them, the Doctor fears he must go against his own nature.
