Well, you don't get much rain. You'd soon get tired of it if it rained all the time. It rained here practically all last summer, all through winter, all through spring and into what was supposed to be summer. My lawn was under up to 4 inches of water most of the winter, couldn't do any gardening at all in spring because the clay soil was so sodden and sticky, and it's only been in the last month we've had a bit of decent weather.
