Summary: Ianto has caught the eye of an alien ambassador.

This was not going the way anyone had expected, Ianto mused as he continued trying to fend off the advances of a very determined alien who appeared completely besotted with him. Indeed, Hamandarra had made it perfectly clear to everyone present, in both Galactic Standard and curiously accented if hesitant English, that she considered Ianto to be the most exotic and attractive human she’d ever encountered, and she was much saddened that he didn’t want to return with her to her home planet.
 

Ianto wasn’t sure what annoyed Jack more, that she desired Ianto enough that she wanted to steal him away and take him as her consort, or that she considered him more attractive than Jack himself. Either way, it meant that Jack was currently not in a particularly good mood, although Ianto’s stern glare had prevented him from offering to fight Hamandarra over him. If he’d lost, that would have made the situation ten times worse, since Ianto had no intention of leaving earth, and he didn’t want to be the cause of a diplomatic incident, especially not when negotiations had been going so well.

 
One thing was certain, however: the whole situation had severely dented Jack’s ego!
