“England again?” Ted said, looking over Dee’s shoulder at his friend’s phone as Dee booked his and Ryo’s flights for their coming vacation. “How come you and Ryo always cross the pond for your vacations when there’s so much to do and see right here in the good ol’ United States?”

Dee snorted. “We don’t ALWAYS go to the UK. We take tropical vacations, we’ve been to Italy, California, Florida, up and down the east coast on our boat, and most weekends in summer we go campin’, or hikin’, or kayakin’, gettin’ out in nature.”

“But more often than not, if you’re goin’ away for a couple of weeks, England’s where you go,” Ted pointed out. “What’s so great about it that you gotta fly all that way?”

“Can’t believe you gotta ask. You’re Irish!”

“My grandparents were Irish, both sides. I’m… an American of Irish descent,” Ted huffed.

“You really wanna know why we’re goin’ to England again?”

Well duh, wouldn’t have asked otherwise.”

“’Cause it means we’ll be on the other side of the world from you lot. Peace, perfect peace as we explore England’s green and pleasant land.” Dee smirked at Ted. “Plus, everyone there speaks English.”
