Aliens have alien ways, but Mondreigh, despite being a bit of a rogue always looking for the best deal, knows what's truly important in life, sharing it with the people who make you want to be the very best version of yourself that you can be. He's also very observant, and can see how important Ianto and Jack are to each other.
