Summary: The alien Vooshna are having a wonderful time.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.
A/N: Double drabble. This one is for Candi-apple-Red, who asked for more Vooshna.
The Vooshna problem wasn’t much of a problem, in Jack’s opinion. All the alien puffballs wanted was to have fun, and Jack, being fun-loving himself, was happy to join in. So were the rest of the team, pushing the visitors on swings, bouncing them on the see-saw… Even Owen didn’t take much persuading to help out, getting the roundabout spinning as fast as he could, to the accompaniment of excited trills from several Vooshna.
They couldn’t monopolise the children’s play park all day though, that wouldn’t be fair to Cardiff’s residents. Besides, it was getting on for lunchtime, and everybody was starting to feel hungry.
“Alright, folks,” Jack called out, clapping his hands. “Time to call it a day here, I think. We’ll head back to the Hub for lunch, then see what other fun things we can find to do.”
The Vooshna bounced eagerly as the team rounded them up.
“Everybody accounted for?” Jack took a quick look around for stray aliens. “Okay then, let’s roll!”
Immediately twenty or so alien puffballs laid on the grass and started rolling down the slope.
Ianto smirked. “Literal-minded, aren’t they?”
Jack shrugged. “Hold my coat? If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.”
The End
