A/N: Double drabble.
Dee wasn’t happy at being told he needed spectacles for reading, and for using his work computer. It was unwelcome proof that he was indeed getting older, past his prime, on the downhill slide towards old age. What a depressing thought!
He tried to console himself with the knowledge that Ryo, only a year older, had already needed reading glasses when they’d met, but that was different. Ryo was long-sighted, he could see distance clearly, but his eyes needed a little outside adjustment for anything close-up. Dee had been wearing contacts for a few years, to sharpen his distance vision, but having to wear them all the time and then put glasses on to read just felt like adding insult to injury. It was so unfair! Ryo didn’t use contacts at all.
Then again, Ryo looked sexy in his reading glasses, so maybe with the right frames, Dee could rock the spectacles look too, and there was only one person Dee trusted enough to tell him what looked good on him, because Dee didn’t trust his own judgement in this.
“You want me to help you choose new glasses?” Ryo asked.
“Yours always look so great, babe. I trust you.”
