Cross Stitch Greetings

I've finally managed to finish a set of really fiddly designs. The pictures don't show it very clearly but they used 15 colours, some of which were so similar I couldn't see the difference except in bright daylight. There's also a lot of backstitch, and one of the designs I had to start again after accidentally dropping my yogurt on the first attempt...

These are small designs, stitched on 14 count.




I've also managed to complete the border for the rose design, so here's my progress so far...





Next up, I'm working on a set of four much simpler small floral designs on 14 count. I need something easy after the last lot!

Those are all lovely - my current crossstitch uses thread which in some cases is only one DMC digit different, they're really hard to tell apart. And I'm delighted I'm not the only one who had yoghurt accidents.

I'm very impressed with the rose border - very intricate.

That was the case in a couple of places with this set. You can't really see it, but the ;eaves are in three colours, and the flowers are each three or four colours, so very tricky to stitch. After the first one, I just ran the threads across the back when I did the leaves. Stitching the flowers covered up most of it.

Thank you! The rose border was pretty straightforward to stitch, except for the fact I'm working on 20 count. Stitching is easier with one strand of thread. I prefer it.

Yogurt has a mind of its own, lol! I dropped the whole pot full. Got most of it in my lap, but my stitching got a good dollop and so did my cross stitch magazine. =/
