MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!
Wishing a Very Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate it, and Happy Holidays to everybody else!
May the peace and joy of the season be with you all, not just now but throughout the year ahead *hugs you all in a giant group hug*
And to keep my own Christmas tradition, here are all my boys, including a new Jack (right hand side at the far end) enjoying their Christmas dinner. Hope all of you are enjoying (or have enjoyed) a feast of your own, whether with friends, family, loved ones, pets, or all of the above!

Be happy!

Hope you and your mum have had a great time!

I don't think I'm gonna get to see the episode; it's airing at all the wrong times. :-/ According to our programming guide, it's only on at six and 9:15, and I'm not gonna put Mom through a show she doesn't much care for (particularly because she doesn't like what little she's seen of Capaldi; she's more into Tennant).

Shame you won't get to see it, I found it quite lighthearted fun.
Glad you enjoyed your Christmas =)

Was this Pearl Mackie's first episode? I'm so curious about Bill.
He's doing a lot better now. He's eaten most of his kibble, and he's acting like his old self. I was worried sick that I might lose the poor baby.

No, Bill will be in the next series, this was daft superhero stuff set in New York mostly, just the lighthearted thing I needed for Christmas =)

I'd been wondering what was up with that title. I'd seen absolutely nothing pertaining to it, except for one .gif image on Tumblr.

Good to know, even if he's getting in trouble again!

He's stretched out next to me on the couch arm, napping. :) Sweet boy. He had us so scared.
I think I may be an idiot. I just signed up for getyourwords out. The 500,000 pledge. O.o

I'm very easily pleased, I think. Just getting more Doctor Who after a long break gave me the happys.
Pets can be a great worry, but also a great comfort =)

It's been so weird, not having a season to look forward to now that we have TV again. This Christmas turned into a real fandom one, lol! Mom just kept finding amazing DW stuff for me, so that nearly half my gifts were fandom related.
This little boy and I have been through so much together. I can't imagine the past twelve years without him.

Twelve years, that's a great age! I know cats can live a long time though, a neighbour's Siamese lived into her 20s.
Keeping my fingers crossed that GYWO will provide the impetus you need =)

Just found out about Carrie Fisher, though, so I've gone from happy DW fangirl to devastated Star Wars fangirl.
He'll be thirteen in April. :) The cat I grew up with lived to be fifteen, and she was semi-feral, and spent a lot of her time outside, winning every cat fight on the block. Blaze has never been outside, and we think he might live even longer than she did. He certainly isn't slowing down at all.
I sure hope so. This year's been so unproductive for me that it might give me the adrenaline rush I need.

Yeah, I thought she was getting better and then wham, we're all hit by the devastating news. I saw your tribute *hugs* I saw the original trilogy in the cinema when they first came out and was just awed. I went with my then best friend and we loved every minute. The first trilogy are still the heart of Star Wars to me, and Carrie's Princess Leia was a big part of that. she was tough and feisty and didn't take any nonsense from anyone. What an inspiration she was to us girls. We owe her a great debt of gratitude.
Living indoors certainly won't have hurt. My Joe was feral and the king of cats in our area. Many fights, many wins, and I think I knew him for 10 years and he was already a battle-scarred Tom when I first met him. I loved that cat.
Good luck with the writing!

Rainbow was a tough old girl. Super-petite, but feisty as all get-out. She was a barn kitten when we got her, and she never was fully domesticated. She didn't need us for anything, but she always came home. We think she's haunting the house we grew up in.

I think this is the entertainment death that's hit me the hardest too, although my family losses obviously hit harder. Star Wars was such a huge part of my teens, and onwards, that it's hard to wrap my head around. I just really thought she was going to pull through =(

This has just been a crap year, all around. Mom has had a great year, and she feels guilty for it, considering everyone else she talks to has had such a sucky one.

It wouldn't surprise me at all =)
