A/N: Double drabble.
When his phone rang, Ianto was tempted to ignore it; he knew who was calling from the ringtone. If he didn’t answer though, Rhi would worry, then probably drive over to check on him, only to find he was perfectly fine at which point she’d yell at him for not answering his phone and worrying her enough to drag her all the way to Cardiff. His sister had a way of stacking the deck so he couldn’t win no matter what he did.
Pulling his phone out of his pocket, he answered it.
“Rhiannon, hi.”
“About time you answered! I was starting to get worried. Where were you?”
“I had my hands full.” Okay, that was a lie, but there were some things Rhiannon didn’t need to know. “You can’t expect me to drop everything and answer on the first ring; I had to put everything down first. I am at work, you know.”
“At this time of night?”
“I’m working late. Inventory. Did you call for a reason?”
“Are you coming for Sunday dinner?”
“I’ll try.”
After he hung up, Jack was smirking. “Hands full? Liar.”
“I wasn’t about to tell her I was giving my boss a blowjob.”
