Donna Noble had never wanted much from life, just a decent job and hopefully a husband. She quite liked being a temp because it was varied, and she got to meet a lot of people. She’d met her fiancé Lance through work, and that should have been that, her simple ambitions achieved.
 

But then she’d discovered Lance had been using her, and everything she thought she’d known got turned upside down and inside out. Right on her wedding day if you can believe that! Talk about shattered dreams.
 

But she’s over that. Maybe she was always meant for bigger things.
