Summary: Willow is determined to master conjuring the four elements, she just needs to be a bit more careful next time.

“Note to self,” Willow muttered, beating out the last of the flames and waving her hand to waft the smoke away. “Next time I try to conjure fire, I should probably do it in the bathroom instead of my bedroom. Maybe in the shower for safety. You’d think I would’ve learned from when I was trying to conjure water, but noooo.”

 
She’d had to strip her bed that time and tell her mom she’d dropped her drink. She wasn’t sure how she was going to explain the burnt patch on her rug. Maybe it would be best not to try, just get rid of the damaged rug, and replace it with a new one. She’d never particularly liked this one, and anyway, she hadn’t completely managed to get the mud out of it from when she’d been trying to conjure earth. Okay, fine, new rug. She’d hide this one under the bed for now.
 

Opening the French doors, she let the warm evening air waft the last traces of smoke away, staring out into the darkness, thinking. Tonight’s efforts might not have been perfect, but she HAD produced fire out of the aether. She just needed a bit more practice.
