The Doctor stood on the surface of the small moon as its orbit took it gradually closer to perfect alignment. Overhead, the planet’s larger moon, with its longer, slower orbit, seemed not to be moving at all, and somewhere below, out of sight, the planet itself continued its stately march around its sun.

 
The lining up of both moons and the planet was a regular occurrence, and not especially thrilling as far as the planet’s inhabitants were concerned, but they didn’t know…

 
When the three were positioned exactly right, a portal opened into another dimension. Some might call it heaven.
