Characters: Bikky, Ryo.
Rating: G
Setting: Early in the manga.
Summary: Bikky breaks something.
Written Using: The tw100 prompt ‘Accident’.
Disclaimer: I don’t own FAKE, or the characters. They belong to the wonderful Sanami Matoh.
A/N: Double drabble.
“It was an accident, Ryo, honest!” Bikky said, all wide-eyed with worry over the broken glass and spilled milk. “I bumped my arm, and the glass just slipped outta my hand!”
That was probably because the outside of the glass was wet with condensation; cold milk poured into a glass on a hot day…
“It’s fine, Biks, accidents happen. Just maybe try not to be in such a rush all the time. Everything seems to get slippery in hot weather, but a little extra time and patience can prevent most accidents, okay?”
“Yeah, okay.”
“Good. Now just keep back while I clear up the broken glass. It wouldn’t do for either of us to tread on a bit and cut our feet.” That was the one downside of going barefoot around the apartment in all but the coldest weather.
Ryo was already crouched down, clearing up the mess, and he hadn’t yelled once; Bikky was still getting used to that. Ryo hardly ever yelled, unless Bikky did something really bad, or something dangerous that might have gotten him hurt.
“I’ll buy you a new glass.”
“There’s no need, but the offer is appreciated anyway.”
Ryo was the best dad EVER!
