Summary: An unfortunate accident leaves Bikky and Ryo at the hospital.

“This sucks,” Bikky whined.


“I know, Biks, and I’m sorry, but accidents happen.” Ryo felt horribly guilty, although there was no reason why he should. It hadn’t been his fault.


“Why did it have to happen today though? I was gonna go on the roller coaster!”


Ryo had promised to take the boy to Coney Island if he did well in his Math test. Instead, here they were, stuck at the ER.


“The good news is the doctor said it’s a fairly minor fracture,” Ryo reminded his foster son.


“Yeah, but you’re still gonna be in a cast for weeks!”
