“Cut it out, Dee, you’re so childish at times! Just how old are you?” From the inflection of Ryo’s words, it was clear even to Dee that his partner’s patience had reached its limits and that it wouldn’t be wise to push his luck any further, and yet… he couldn’t help himself, pouncing again the moment they were in the car. When it came to Ryo, he was a glutton for punishment. He got it too; a sharp thwack over the head with a clipboard. Damn; should’a seen that one coming!


“Ow! What’d ya do that for?” Just because it was half expected didn’t mean he should take it lying down.


“I’ve told you ‘no’ so many times I’ve lost count, and still you’re all over me every chance you get! Didn’t anyone ever teach you no means no? I should report you! There’s a law against sexual harassment, in case you didn’t know!”


“Course I know! I’m not stupid.” Dee flopped back into his seat, arms folded, scowling, but he had to ask. “Just out of curiosity, why haven’t you reported me?”


Ryo opened his mouth to reply, only to close it again, realising he didn’t have an answer.
