A/N: Triple drabble.
Ryo stared sightlessly at the menu in his hands, eyes starting to glaze over as Dee’s toes crept slowly up his calf towards his knee. He knew he should protest at the liberties his lover was taking but they were in a busy restaurant and the last thing he wanted was to cause a scene. That would only draw attention to what his partner was up to beneath the tablecloth.
Gritting his teeth to keep from moaning out loud, he tried to concentrate, but it was impossible; the menu was an unreadable blur and he couldn’t even make up his mind on whether or not he wanted Dee to stop. It was so unfair.
A hovering waiter discreetly cleared his throat. “Are you gentlemen ready to order yet?”
Dragging his attention back to his menu as Dee’s toes retreated, Ryo blinked and nodded, quickly scanning the list of entrees for something, anything, he could order quickly.
“Um, I’ll have the roast lamb, please.” He hadn’t had lamb for some time; it would make a pleasant change.
“Chargrilled steak for me, thanks.” Dee flashed the waiter a grin as he handed his menu back.
As the waiter moved away, Ryo surreptitiously probed with his foot until he found Dee’s, protected only by his sock; then he pressed his heel firmly down on his lover’s toes. The last thing he wanted was to get thrown out of the restaurant because Dee was incapable of keeping his feet to himself!
This time it was Dee’s turn to grit his teeth. Ryo glared across the table as Dee hurriedly pulled his foot back, hoping the other man had gotten the message and would give up on his game of footsie. If he didn’t, this was going to be a very long and uncomfortable meal.
