A/N: Triple drabble.
Dee wasn’t sure why Ryo kept resisting him; it was obvious that he wasn’t anywhere near as uninterested as he claimed to be, just by the way his body responded when Dee kissed him. Perhaps he was just bothered that someone might find out; as detectives they did work with a group of people who were trained to notice things.
So when Ryo mentioned he was taking Bikky to England on vacation, Dee had immediately formulated a plan. If he could get Ryo alone a long way from home, maybe he could coax his delectable partner into bed. No one would be able to see what they were up to from the other side of the Atlantic so maybe he’d be more willing.
The fly in the ointment was obviously the House Ape; with Bikky present, Dee knew he wouldn’t stand a chance. The brat had some sort of radar, always showing up to defend his foster father whenever Dee started to make a move. But if Dee bribed Bikky to drop out of the vacation, he’d have Ryo all to himself for two whole weeks. Surely that would be long enough to wear down any lingering resistance.
It almost worked. Bikky remained in New York while Dee and Ryo travelled to England. It was off-season so the hotel was practically deserted, and drinking wine on the balcony in the moonlight had led to some very enjoyable smooching. Maybe he should have pressed his advantage right away, but he hadn’t wanted to move too fast, and by the time he changed his mind and decided to just go right ahead and seduce Ryo, it was too late. Those pesky kids had the worst timing imaginable, magically appearing while Dee was attempting to prise Ryo out of his clothes.
Foiled again.
