The longer he’d known Dee, the stronger Ryo’s feelings for his partner had grown, from cautious friendship to a soul-deep love he’d never felt for any other person. Now he and Dee were officially, if secretly, in a romantic relationship with each other, with all that implied, and quite naturally, Dee was eager to explore the physical side of things. While Ryo couldn’t say he disliked what they got up to in the privacy of the bedroom, he wasn’t exactly comfortable either.
 

Dee said it was because Ryo had been repressing his desires for so long, and perhaps also because his previous experiences with sex had been less than satisfying. Given time and practice, he was sure that Ryo would eventually come to enjoy their sex life and be a more active participant. He just had to get past his self-imposed hang-ups. There was nothing wrong with enjoying each other’s bodies.
 

One thing that had surprised Ryo was how patient Dee was with him, never pushing him into anything that made him uncomfortable, simply encouraging him to try new things at his own pace.
 

Still, Ryo couldn’t help but think his partner must be a little disappointed with him. Dee had been with so many lovers. He was experienced, while Ryo didn’t have a clue what he was doing most of the time. On top of that, Dee was always the one who had to make the first move, and more often than not, Ryo turned him down, not so much because he didn’t want sex, but because he felt so awkward.
 

If only he could be as spontaneous as Dee and say what he wanted instead of getting flustered and embarrassed. He knew Dee wouldn’t laugh at him, would instead be thrilled. Somehow, Ryo had to overcome his inhibitions.
