Summary: Ianto knows exactly how to make his colleagues shut up.

A/N: Double drabble.
 


 
Coming up from the peace and quiet of the archives, Ianto was tempted to turn around again and beat a hasty retreat before anyone noticed he was there. The Hub was in uproar, everyone seemed to be yelling at once. Even Myfanwy was screeching up in her aerie, and Ianto didn’t blame her; the old girl wasn’t fond of loud noises and was simply making her displeasure known. Trying to, at least; she was barely audible over the general racket.

 
Ianto could have slammed the door to the stairway and nobody would have heard, but instead he simply closed it quietly behind him, made his way up the steps to one of the catwalks, put two fingers in his mouth, and whistled. The sound cut through the shouting like a hot knife through butter.
 

Four mouths snapped shut, and four people slapped their hands over their ears. Ianto stared stonily down at them.
 

“That’s better. You’re like a bunch of football hooligans, or politicians.” He raised a disbelieving eyebrow at Tosh, who blushed.
 

“I was just trying to make them shut up.”

 
“So what were they arguing about?”
 

“Who would win in a fight between a Weevil and a caveman.”

I expect you're right, and Jack joined in enthusiastically, so of course Gwen had to, and Tosh was trying to work so she started shouting at them to shut up or go somewhere else...

LOL! They must be bored. Thankfully (especially for Myfanwy), Ianto came to the rescue and shut them up. someone has to be the parent.
