Shrugging into his familiar greatcoat, Jack raised his eyebrow at Ianto, clad only in his suit. “Where’s your coat?”
 

“At home, in the closet.” Ianto didn’t seem the least bit concerned about his lack of overcoat.
 

“Did you forget it? I think I’ve got a jacket you can borrow, although it might be a bit out of style.”
 

“No, Jack, I didn’t forget it. I left it behind on purpose.”
 

“But we’re going out to dinner!”
 

“Exactly. The restaurant doesn’t have a cloakroom, and my coat would only get in the way, hung over the back of my chair. I don’t know why you’re wearing yours; you’re not going to need it. We’ll only have a short walk from the car park.”

 
Jack pouted. “I like my coat, and anyway, I don’t want to get cold. It’s a bit nippy out.”
 

“Nippy?” Ianto gave a disparaging snort. “What are you talking about? It’s a lovely, mild autumn evening.”
 

“It’s barely sixteen Celsius, and it’ll only get colder!”
 

“How long have you lived in Wales? I know you grew up on a desert planet, but you should have acclimatised by now. Clearly the Welsh are a lot hardier than you are.”
