Summary: Buffy’s almost perfect life is falling apart around her.

Just a few short months ago, Buffy had thought her life was as perfect as it could get. Okay, sure, still the Slayer, still juggling high school with her extracurricular responsibilities, still dealing with mom issues, just like every teenage girl EVER, but she’d been head-over-heels in love with her gorgeous creature of the night boyfriend, and he’d felt the same way about her… Knowing she had Angel in her life had made all the other stuff pale into insignificance.
 

Then they’d spent one amazing night together, and all the threads of her life had started to unravel. Angel was evil again, her mom knew she’d had sex, so did Giles, and all her friends, Angelus was tormenting everyone she cared about, Ms Calendar was dead…
 

Her schoolwork was starting to suffer because she couldn’t concentrate, she and her friends were having to be extra vigilant, Giles was grieving, nobody was getting enough sleep, and Buffy knew it was all her fault. She needed to fix it, but she was still reeling with how fast everything had fallen apart.
 

And the bad kept getting worse. Now she had to stop Angelus before he could have the world sucked into Hell.
