Summary: It’s St. Patrick’s Day, and all Dee and Ryo wanted was a quiet drink after work.

A/N: Double drabble.
“How come this keeps happenin’ to us?” Dee asked, forcibly restraining one of the combatants.
“It doesn’t always,” Ryo pointed out.
“Sure it does. Every frickin’ Saint Paddy’s Day, even if it’s our day off, we wind up havin’ to break up fights! Don’t matter where we are, at work, at a bar, or watchin’ the parade, you can bet your boots someone nearby’s gonna start a fight and we’ll haveta deal with it.”
“Oh. Yes, I guess you’re right. I just thought you meant, you know, every time we go out for a drink. Saint Patrick’s Day though…” Ryo trailed off, twisting aside to keep from being hit over the head with a beer bottle. “Barfights seem to be part of the tradition, along with green beer and shamrocks.”
“Helluva tradition, if you ask me. Makes me glad I’m not Irish.” Dee ducked as a chair flew past. “We’re not even on the clock! D’ya think we could demand hazard pay?”
“Probably not.” Ryo dragged the man he was grappling with over to the door and tossed him out onto the street. “Reinforcements should be here soon.”
“Glad to hear it. Next year, how ‘bout we just stay home?”
