Summary: This is a rescue mission with a difference.

“Why’s it so hot in here?” Rose fanned herself ineffectually with one hand. “I’m roasting!”
“We’ve got to keep junior here warm until we can reunite it with its parents.” Sitting on the TARDIS floor, Jack had sweat dripping down his face as he cuddled the large egg against him inside his coat.
The egg, the only child of the king of Iiskenaar, and therefore heir to the throne, had been abducted, and the Doctor had promised to rescue it.
“Warm is one thing,” Rose pointed out, “but if we’re not careful we’ll be returning it to its parents hardboiled.”
