Summary: The more things change, the more they stay the same.

A/N: Double drabble.
Ryo smiles, he can’t help it; Bikky and Dee are fighting again. His son has been home for spring break for less than a day, and already Ryo’s two favourite people in the world are getting on each other’s nerves. Some things just never change.
The funny thing is, they can get along peacefully when they choose to, it just seems that annoying each other is a habit neither one of them particularly wants to break. Stranger still, after all the years of wishing they could coexist in peace, Ryo realises he’d miss the arguments if they stopped. The quiet would feel unnatural.
His son and his lover are both larger than life personalities, and with Bikky taller than Dee now, they’re impossible to ignore. Then again, it wasn’t easy ignoring the friction between them even when Bikky was a boy.
Bikky calls out “Bye, dad,” heading out to visit his old friends, and Dee comes to sit beside Ryo, chuckling.
“Is it weird I’ve missed this?”
Ryo laughs too. “I was just thinking the same thing.”
“I thought you hated that we’re always fightin’.”
“Used to, but I think you two just have your own way of getting along.”
