Summary: All lovers fight occasionally, it’s nothing to worry about, but it’s still unsettling.

‘It was just a lover’s quarrel,’ Ryo told himself. All lovers had them. Well, most did; relationships were seldom completely perfect all the time, and he and Dee had the added disadvantage, or advantage, depending on how you looked at it, of working together as well as living together.
 

Occasional arguments were to be expected, and this one hadn’t even been particularly bad, but Ryo still felt awful. He did any time he and Dee fought, not because he was worried they might break up over one of their fights, because by now he’d accepted that was unlikely, but because when they fought, it left him feeling off balance and out of sorts.
 

There was only one way to fix this, so when Dee came out of the shower, Ryo approached him.
 

“Dee? I’m…”
 

Dee cut him off. “Don’t you DARE apologise!”
 

“What?”
 

Sighing, Dee shook his head. “Sorry, babe, didn’t mean to snap at ya. It’s just, I’m the one should apologise. You did nothin’ wrong.”

 
“But I did! I knew you weren’t in the best mood after today, so I should’ve given you some space instead of wanting to talk.”

 
“Nah, you were right. Talkin’s better than stewin’.”
