Summary: The Doctor is facing one of his greatest fears.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
It baffles Rory how the Doctor can be so calm in a crisis that could cost thousands of lives if he makes a mistake, and yet he gets thrown into a panic when he’s run out of tea and the shops are closed.
“You’ve got a spaceship that can travel through time. Doesn’t that mean you can just skip ahead a few hours to when the supermarket opens and stock up?” he asks reasonably.
“But I need tea now!”
Maybe that’s the answer; tea calms the Doctor as nothing else can. When he runs out, that’s the time to worry.
