“Ianto!” Jack bellowed from his office doorway. “There’s a dog in the Hub! How’d it get in here?”
“That’s not a dog.”
The voice came from behind Jack, making him jump, although he tried to pretend he hadn’t. From the expression on Ianto’s face, he wasn’t fooled.
“What d’you mean it’s not a dog? I know a dog when I see one!”
“Not in this case.”
Again the voice came from behind Jack, but this time it was Tosh, smiling up at him.
“When is a dog not a dog?”
Ianto again, and Jack could swear he and Tosh were doing it on purpose.
“When it’s a dragon!” Tosh supplied the punchline. “I finally managed to make a perception filter small enough for Herman to wear on his collar. You can even change the dog breed if you like,” she added proudly.
“Incognito mode, which means once he’s had more training, you’ll be able to take Herman walkies whenever and wherever you want, and all anyone will see is a large dog.”
“ROWR!” Herman said eagerly, bounding up the steps, looking exactly like a husky.
Jack frowned. “Doesn’t sound like a dog.”
“Still working on the voice modulator,” Tosh apologised.
