A/N: Double drabble.
Ryo stared in abject horror, scarcely able to believe what he was seeing; the kitchen was a disaster area, it looked like someone had committed a murder. No, not a murder, more like a bloody massacre. There were red sticky streaks trailing down the walls and the kitchen units, splashed across the countertop, table, and chairs, and in pools on the floor. Raising his eyes slowly from the scene of devastation, he realised even the ceiling was dripping.
That was the last straw. Slowly, he sank to the floor, his legs suddenly too weak to support him. What had he done? Their beautiful, pristine new kitchen had been finished less than a week, and now… The worst thing was, he only had himself to blame. He should have been more careful.
“Ryo! What happened? Are you alright?”
He hadn’t heard Dee come in.
“I’m sorry. It’s all my fault, I must not have put the lid on your blender properly.”
“Thank God. For a minute I thought it was blood.”
“No, just strawberries. I’ve ruined our kitchen.”
Dee shook his head. “If anyone’s to blame, it’s me. I forgot to warn you the lid comes loose at the highest setting.”
The End
