Fandom: Twisted Wonderland
Characters: Rem Van der Zee (OC), Jade Leech (canon), OC x Canon
Rating: Gen
Words: 293
Summary: What kind of boyfriend would Jade be if he didn't commandeer one of Rem's sweatshirt for his own personal use?
Notes: Been sitting in my WIPs for much too long, so it felt really nice to polish this off and send it out in to the ether (before I ultimately throw myself back into Raidou Remastered and Persona 5X xD)!! Enjoy! ^ o^)/
"Jade…" Rem leaned against the doorway of Jade's dorm room, waiting for his boyfriend to acknowledge him. "Ya know what I'm about to ask, don'tcha?"

Check-In Post - June 26th 2025
Jun. 26th, 2025 08:22 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
This Week's Question: We all probably have multiple WiPs, but which of yours has been hanging around longest, waiting to be finished?
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Welcome in to those who've joined the challenge in the last few days. :)
Here's the 5th prompt. Have fun making words!
The challenge: Write a three-sentence story that involves the prompt and share it in the comments! The prompt doesn’t have to be used with the precise wording - just make sure it’s clear the prompt has inspired the piece.
There's no deadline on these stories, though sooner is better if you'd like others involved in the event to read and comment.

Every Thursday, we have a community post, just like this one, where you can drop a rec or five in the comments.
This works great if you only have one rec and don't want to make a whole post for it, or if you don't have a DW account, or if you're shy. ;)
(But don't forget: you can deffo make posts of your own seven days a week. ;D!)
So what cool fancrafts/podfics/fics/fanart/fanvids/other kinds of fanworks have we discovered this week? Drop it in the comments below. Anon comment is enabled.
BTW, AI fanworks are not eligible for reccing at recthething. If you aware that a fanwork is AI-generated, please do not rec it here.

Fandom: Star Trek: Reboot
Characters/Pairings: James Kirk/Leonard 'Bones' McCoy
Rating: G
Length: n/a
Creator Links: storietellers on AO3
Themes: Female relationships, Domestic, Femslash
Summary: "Having fun, Bones?"
"Just working out the tension. You really keep it all in your wrists. Keep reading, darlin'. I wanna know what happens next."
Reccer's Notes:
The 'Everything is Femslash' exchange has just revealed creators, and this is a gorgeous artwork of Rule 63 (always a girl) Kirk and McCoy chilling out. The lighting is warm and their likenesses are really well done. It's relaxing just to look at.

Obtain refund on our Oyster cards
Not yet completed, but I have done what I can to this point. Transport for London issue Oyster cards, so, I followed the instructions on their website, since our cards are too old to apply that way, and phoned the number quoted. A very pleasant told me to email and gave me the email address. I emailed and got an acknowledgement, followed by a response requesting further details so they could identify me. I replied with the details two weeks ago, and have heard nothing since. I've now sent a further email asking for details and offering to send the cards to them.
I'm counting this as completion of 'Apply for refund on our Oyster cards'!

I mentioned in my last post here that I had repainted the face on one of my doll's house dolls, and I thought people might like to see some before/after photos. Here are the weird/scary faces the dolls came with.

LONELY PROMPTS WEEK :: 26 JUNE § DAY 4
Jun. 26th, 2025 09:45 amIn the past, we used to have a "winner" who completed the most fills every day, and at the end of the week, we'd announce an overall winner. But this time around, we're doing things differently! There are no winners or “losers”, just prompts that have been filled. At the end of the week, we'll be sharing a round-up post of all the lonely prompts that have been filled.
I’m on vacation until 7 July, so this week is all lonely prompts with no theme.
This week is a full week of free for all of filling lonely prompt week. Please try to only fill prompts have haven’t been filled.
Please number your fills when leaving more than one in a comment. This helps me when I'm ready to count them up.
To find those elusive Lonely Prompts, you can use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community. Fret not, DW members; we are working on a way to search through old entries for prompts for you! As of right now, the best way to search for a lonely prompt on DW is to search the community’s archive, which can be found [[HERE]].
While the use of LJ's advanced search and DW’s archive are options, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching in the future.
To get things going, a few rules that I ask you all to follow.
1. You can only request five prompts to be filled.
2. You can request no more than three prompts from the same fandom.
3. You can, however, fill as many prompts as you'd like!
4. In the subject line, be sure to say whether this is a request or a fill!
5. You must link back to whatever the prompt is in the community logs (whether filling or requesting it be filled), and, if you're filling the prompt, please complete the fill as a response to the original prompt.
6. If you are filling an "any/any" prompt, please let us know what fandom (or, if original, say so!) you're using for the response.
7. If you filled any lonely prompts earlier this week, this is the place to share them!
8. Finally, we now have a community at AO3. If you have an AO3 account, please post your fills there. More information on how to do this is located at this link.
