Cross Stitch Coloured Blackwork

Yay! I've managed to complete another set of designs! These ones are a mix of cross stitch and coloured blackwork, stitched on 14 count. The big ones were designed for bookmarks but I'll be making mine into birthday cards as I've got some tall, narrow card blanks that will fit them nicely. The two small ones will be gift tags.

Thank you! Not that talented, not really. You should have seen all the times I screwed up on theses and had to unpick... I don't think I've ever made so many mistakes! They did turn out nice in the end though, so I'm happy =)

Very cute! I did some cross stitch years ago, but now with a tremor, I don't even try anymore. Same with the painting of Christmas village pieces and suncatchers. I have to channel my creating to home decorating ideas, and a few planters. But I've been hearing good things, and people asking for advise. So it's kinda fun to help out others with colors and texures.

There are always ways to be creative, no matter what life throws at you. Kudos for finding things you can still do.

I love cross stitch, but my eyes don't appreciate me working on the high count fabrics I prefer. I'll need to get out my magnifying lamp for some of the things I want to do.
