Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.
A/N: Double drabble.
Nosy was goggling intently at the door to the room where Ianto kept the stationary supplies. It had only been living with its new human friends at the Hub for a couple of weeks and there were a lot of places it wasn’t allowed to go, but it had already learned that if it showed interest in something for long enough it might be rewarded with an explanation or a closer look. Nosy by name and nosy by nature.
“That’s the stationery cupboard, where we keep all the spare pens, notebooks and photocopier paper, stuff like that, until they’re needed,” Ianto said, coming up behind the Fluff. He’d noticed it slinking down the corridor and followed to see where it was going.
“Hum?”
“Well, I don’t suppose there’s any harm letting you take a look.” Ianto opened the door and turned the light on. “There, does that satisfy your curiosity? Not all that interesting is it? Although Jack would probably disagree.”
Slithering inside, Nosy poked around among the shelves and boxes, making a mental note of what was stored there, for future reference, then slithered back out, humming a thank you as Ianto closed the door behind it.
“You’re welcome.”
