“Don’t scratch!” Ianto slapped Jack’s hand away again.

 
“But it itches!” Jack’s pout was a work of art, designed to garner sympathy from the hardest heart.

 
Ianto ignored it; he was getting good at that.

 
“Scratching will only make it worse.”
 

“I don’t think that’s possible, it’s already as worse as it can get.”

 
Rolling his eyes, Ianto sighed. “Our kids’ grammar is better than yours!”

 
“I’m suffering!”
 

“So are they, but they’re being far more grown up about it, and the twins are only three!”
 

“I hate being itchy!”
 

“Then hold still while I put some more lotion on your spots.”
 

“It’s not helping.” Jack scowled at his husband.
 

“I don’t even know why I’m bothering to anoint you. With your accelerated healing you’ll be fine by tomorrow. The kids will probably itch for a week or more.”

 
“I hate chickens!”

 
“I think you’ll find that chickens aren’t actually responsible for chicken pox.”

 
Jack merely huffed, and scratched, taking the top off a spot.

 
“OW! FUCK IT!”
 

“JACK! Language! Small ears are listening!”
 

“But it hurts!” Jack wailed, sounding so much like his son that Ianto had to stifle a laugh.
 

“Told you scratching would only make it worse.”
