“Front page news!” Ianto shook out the newspaper and held it up. “How about that? You’ve hit the bigtime.”

 
Nosy hummed dubiously.
 
“Well yes, I know the picture’s a bit grainy, doesn’t show you in your best light, but that’s newsprint for you. Besides, it’s not the picture that’s important; it’s the story that goes with it.” Flopping onto the sofa beside Nosy, Ianto started to read. Not that Nosy couldn’t read the article itself, but sometimes it was better to hear the words aloud.
 

“Fluff saves child’s life; that’s the headline. It says here, ‘Cardiff’s resident alien Nosy the Fluff has been hailed as a hero today after saving the life of six-year-old Megan Malone of County Cork, who is visiting Cardiff with her parents and older brother for a family holiday. While crossing the Plas, young Megan started to choke on the sweet she was eating. Sensing the problem, the heroic Fluff slithered to the rescue, performing the Heimlich Manoeuvre on the child, and effectively dislodging the sweet.” Ianto smiled at Nosy. “See? You’re a hero.”

 
“HUM!” Nosy fluffed up with pride.
 

“Just don’t let it go to your head.”
 

“Hfff!” Nosy snorted indignantly. As if it would!
