Summary: Team Torchwood have a dangerous alien to catch.

A/N: Double drabble.
Sometimes, the only way to deal with aliens that came through the Rift was to divide and conquer.
“Okay, kids!” Jack shouted as the team raced across Cooper’s Fields in hot pursuit. “Spread out! Owen, Gwen, go left, Ianto and Tosh, go right. I’ll keep going straight ahead. With any luck we can surround it!”
“With any luck?” Owen shouted back over their comms. “That’s not exactly encouraging! What the hell is it anyway?”
“How should I know? Do I look like an encyclopaedia of alien life?”
“No, you look like a wanker,” Owen snapped back.
“Save the personal insults for later; it’s getting away!”
“The poor thing’s probably just scared,” Gwen said. “It already had the shock of getting pulled through the Rift, and now we’re chasing it!”
“’Course we’re chasing the bloody thing, Gwen!” Owen snapped. “It’s a menace, already responsible for two deaths; it ate that old lady’s Pekingese right in front of her! Hardly surprising she dropped dead of a heart attack. We should just shoot it!”
“Just because it’s a carnivore doesn’t mean it’s hostile,” Ianto cut in. “I would like to know how something the size of a squirrel ate a whole Peke though.”
