The Doctor was good at taking charge in almost any kind of situation he found himself in. At over nine-hundred years old, he’d had a lot of practice.
He could be friendly, easy-going, even charming one minute, but when necessary…
It was like flipping a switch. He stood straighter, taller somehow, and he let a little of the Oncoming Storm leak out, lending him the kind of authority that would not be denied. Because he was the Doctor, and when there was trouble, he was the one person in the universe who could be counted on to set things right.
