Summary: Jack thought he could fly anything, but the TARDIS has him stumped.

Jack Harkness had flown spaceships his entire adult life. The Time Agency had trained him well, not just on contemporary makes and models, but on craft from every time period and world they could get access to. Some of the training had been done via simulators, but nevertheless, by now he was confident he could figure out how to handle just about any contraption capable of flight.

 
The TARDIS was the exception. Her instrument panels were like nothing he’d ever imagined; he couldn’t begin to guess the purpose behind most of her controls.
 

Flying lessons might be a good idea.
