Oh yes I very rarely just sit and watch a film, I'm always doing something else too e.g. writing ideas down for a story.

I'm just continually moving on, although I sometimes go back and write a one off for a previous loved fandom. I think I'm different to most fans. Or most people tbh.

I agree that characters are the attraction. I've no interest in car chases or shootouts and I'm not much of a plot writer. I used to try and structure my fics but it just led to rather flat and boring stories.

Yes there has to be a little bit of drama and angst to balance the humour and love, doesn’t there.
