HELP!

I was happily writing a new fic in MS Word, hit something wrong as I was typing, and now there's a dot between every word and a bunch of those paragraph symbols like a backwards letter P with a vertical line after it, and I can't get rid of them!


How can I get it back to normal? Even opening a new document results in the same thing.

Panic over, I think I fixed it.

Yeah you can accidentally click on show mark ups or something. My mother loves typing in that mode...

It's a nightmare! The thing is, even though I fixed it, I don't remember HOW I fixed it *headdesk* So next time it happens I'm going to be panicking again!

Yes don't worry, that's only the Show/Hide button you must have pressed by accident. It also looks like a backwards P on the toolbar.

Thanks. Not even sure how I did it since I was typing at the time (I'm a one-finger typist, well, one finger, and one on the other hand for the shift key). Must have hit a combination of keys that had the same effect. I hate doing things like that and not knowing WHAT I did. =/
