Summary: Being so close to Angel, the temptation is almost unbearable.

Buffy aches to touch him, kiss him, run her hands over his broad, smooth chest, up over his shoulders and down his back, tracing the contours of his body with her fingertips, her lips, her tongue… She wants to kiss him, taste him, revel in his strength which matches her own, longs to ride him, letting him fill her, touching places that no one else ever has, places even her own fingers have never gone…

 
The wanting makes her almost giddy, but she forces it back down, tries not to look at Angel’s bare chest, tries instead to focus on her own movements. Tai Chi is supposed to be relaxing, it’s all about control, and flexibility or something, isn’t it? Right now she needs to control herself because Angel is so close, and the temptation is so great.

 
She can’t give in to it, and she knows it; the risk is just too great. How many innocent lives were lost the last time, the first and only time she and Angel surrendered to desire? One would have been too many, but there were dozens, including people she knew.

 
It can never happen again, but knowing that doesn’t stop the wanting.
