badly_knitted's Fluff Emporium

A lot of fanfic writers seem to portray Ryo as girly and a bit of a wimp, which to be fair there are a couple of moments in the manga that give that impression, but he's also pretty kick-ass in the manga, and I thought it would be fun to give him some martial arts skills. I love showing him being the competent police officer he would have to be to make detective, like Dee, by his late twenties. He's probably 27 at the start of the manga. I also enjoy having Dee stand back and watch his partner dealing with idiots who underestimate him.
