Summary: Jack has big plans for their first Christmas since Meriel was born.

A/N: Double drabble.
“This will be our first Christmas as a family, and I want it to be perfect,” Jack insisted over Ianto’s horrified protests as he manhandled the immense tree through the door and into the flat.
“But we have a nine-month-old baby!” Ianto pointed out. “She’s crawling and getting into everything! What if we take our eyes off her for a second and she pulls that monstrosity down on top of her? She’ll be flattened!”
“Not going to happen.”
“You don’t know that!”
“I do.” Jack’s voice was firm. “First off, the base will be far too heavy for it to topple. I’m going to stand the tree over there.” He pointed vaguely towards the far end of the living room. “And I’m going to secure it to the balcony. Then we’ll put a fence around it so that our little mischief maker can’t get anywhere near it.” He dragged the tree the rest of the way in. “Give me a hand, would you? We need to have it in place and decorated by the time Meriel wakes up in the morning. Just imagine the look on her face when she sees it!”
Ianto sighed. They had a busy evening ahead.
