“Hullo!”
Martha half screamed as she spun around to see a tiny person sitting on the TARDIS console, swinging its feet.
“No need to deafen me when I’m bein’ polite.”
“Right, sorry, I just didn’t see you there; you startled me.”
“Happens a lot, ‘cause of me size. Still annoying though. Can’t meet folks if nobody notices me.”
“I suppose that would be awkward. What’re you doing here?”
“Me name’s Rollo; I’m hitchin’ a ride. Ain’t easy out in space.”
“Are you a fairy?”
“Nah, no wings, see? I’s a Sprite.” Rollo grinned. “So, you single and lookin’ to mingle?”
