Summary: Bikky is really enjoying his first kayaking trip.

A/N: Double drabble.
“Wow, that was fantastic!” Bikky yelled, eyes shining with excitement, as they reached the bottom of the rapids and drifted out onto deeper, smoother water. “Can we go back and do it again?”
Ryo, at the front of their rented kayak having done this kind of trip with his parents, turned to look back over his shoulder at his foster son, laughing at the boy’s enthusiasm.
“There’s no need. That was only the first set of rapids on this stretch of the river, and probably the shortest.”
“There’s more?” Bikky’s grin was so wide it all but split his face in half.
“Plenty more, and the next ones will be more challenging, so don’t even think of taking your helmet off.”
“I won’t, I swear,” Bikky promised.
“You okay back there, Dee?” Ryo Looked past his son at his partner, seated in the stern.
“Everything’s good back here. Almost lost my paddle pushin’ off a rock back there, it slipped into a gap, but I got it out, still in one piece. Gotta watch out for that. I’m with Biks though, this is fantastic! How far to the next rapids?”
“We’ll be there before you know it.”
“Bring ‘em on!”
