Summary: Humans look as strange to aliens as aliens do to humans.

A/N: Double drabble.
Torchwood’s latest accidental alien visitor was quite genial company. She was an Ikkrokk from a planet eighty-seven light years away, and she’d been taken by the Rift as it swept across the uninhabited planet she was surveying, looking for valuable mineral deposits.
She was cheerfully regaling her hosts with tales of her adventures as a planetary surveyor, in Galactic Standard since she didn’t know English, when Owen arrived, grumpy and hungover, wearing a sour expression and a pair of dark glasses. Mig paused her story, four of her six eyes following the medic as he stumbled past the break area, towards his desk, then she pointed four tentacles at him, making the high-pitched whistling sound that was Ikkrokkian laughter. Jack and Ianto laughed along with her.
Owen finally seemed to realise there were people around and stopped, glaring at the visitor through his shades.
“What the Hell is that thing?”
“That’s more or less what Mig was asking,” Jack said brightly. “She thinks you look peculiar with your wide mouth and big, black eyes. Like a swamp creature from her world.”
“I’m peculiar? That from something with six eyes and tentacles!”
Ianto shrugged. “She’s never seen a human wearing sunglasses.”
