Summary: Humans aren’t always as bright as the Doctor would like.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
Humans. The Doctor loves them, they’re curious, adventurous, full of enthusiasm, and their wide-eyed wonder when he shows them things they never would have imagined helps him to see the universe with new eyes. They keep him from becoming jaded and bored with his existence. Above all, they chase away his loneliness.
Unfortunately, for all their good points they’re singularly lacking in common sense.
“Didn’t I tell you not to touch that?”
His current companion looks suitably ashamed. “Sorry. I didn’t know that would happen.”
“Which was why I said don’t touch. Now we’re locked in with no way out.”
