Summary: As usual, Ryo is more excited about autumn than Dee is.

It’s early fall; the temperatures are starting to drop at night but the leaves are only just beginning to change color. The full glory of the season is still ahead, and Ryo can barely restrain his excitement. He’s already making plans for them to head north for a long weekend when the fall colours are at their height.


It amuses Dee. He doesn’t really share Ryo’s enthusiasm for autumn; what’s so thrilling about colored leaves? Sure, they look pretty enough, but as they fall from the trees it’s an unwelcome reminder of the cold, ice, and snow yet to come. Still, he loves Ryo, and when his baby is this excited and happy his mood is infectious.


So yeah, Dee will let Ryo drag him away from the city for three or four days, sleeping at a B & B somewhere most likely, a double room with two single beds knowing their luck. Although… that has definite snuggling potential, so if that’s the way the cookie crumbles he’s not gonna complain. That part could actually be a lot of fun.


Dee would prefer a tropical getaway, but he’ll go wherever Ryo wants, even if it’s just to look at leaves.
