A/N: Double drabble.




“Space; the final frontier,” the voice on the TV intoned.


Nosy goggled eagerly at the screen, watching the adventures of Captain Kirk and the brave crew of the Enterprise. One day, perhaps it would get to go on thrilling adventures out in space, visiting other planets, meeting strange aliens, and discovering wonderful things.


Of course, technically it had already done that, just without the travel by spaceship. One minute it had been living happily on its home planet, surrounded by its own kind, and the next it had been swept up by a Rift though time and space, and transported to another world, where it had met real aliens and been accepted as one of them.


It had seen and done so many amazing things here on earth, and it was very happy among its human friends, but this was just one planet among thousands. Jack had told Nosy stories of all the worlds he’d visited travelling with the Doctor, and that sounded like a very exciting life…


As Star Trek ended, Nosy closed its eyes and imagined itself as fearless Captain Fluff of the Starship Torchwood, exploring the universe with its valiant crew.


What a life that would be!

Oh, how cute! Maybe the Doctor could take Nosy with him on some adventures, as his new companion. ;) Or maybe Nosy should just stay there and dream.

Jack and Ianto are immortal, and Fluffs live for thousands of years, so when they leave earth Nosy will go with them and fulfil its dreams. It's going to have a wonderful life!

Maybe I should send them all on a trip with the Doctor first though ;)
